Text 2..023.24
मद्बलेन विरुद्धाय न स्याद्दैवबलं तथा।
प्रभविष्यति दुःखाय यथोग्रं पौरुषं मम॥
mad-balena viruddhāya na syād daiva-balaṁ tathā
prabhaviṣyati duḥkhāya yathograṁ pauruṣaṁ mama
mat-balena = on the basis of My strength; viruddhāya = by leading My opponents; na syāt = will not; daiva-balam = the strength of providence; tathā = lead to happiness; prabhaviṣyati = flourishes; duḥkhāya = to unhappiness; yathā = the way; ugram = fierce; pauruṣam = competence; mama = My.
The strength of providence will not lead to happiness the way My fierce competence flourishes on the basis of My strength by leading My opponents to unhappiness.
