Chapter 24: Rāma Instructs Kausalyā
Text 2.24.5
नूनं तु बलवाँल्लोके कृतान्तः सर्वमादिशन्।
लोके रामाभिरामस्त्वं वनं यत्र गमिष्यसि॥
nūnaṁ tu balavānl loke kṛtāntaḥ sarvam ādiśan
loke rāmābhirāmas tvaṁ vanaṁ yatra gamiṣyasi
nūnam tu = is indeed; balavān = strong; loke = in this world; kṛtāntaḥ = providence; sarvam = everyone’s happiness and unhappiness; ādiśan = ordaining; loke = in this world; rāma = Rāma; abhirāmaḥ = who please [everyone]; tvam = You; vanam = to the forest; yatra = because of whom; gamiṣyasi = have to go.
Rāma, providence is indeed strong in this world, ordaining everyone’s happiness and unhappiness, because of whom You, who please [everyone] in the world, have to go to the forest.
