अहं गमिष्यामि महावनं प्रिये त्वया हि वस्तव्यमिहैव भामिनि।
यथा व्यलीकं कुरुषे न कस्यचित्तथा त्वया कार्यमिदं वचो मम॥
ahaṁ gamiṣyāmi mahā-vanaṁ priye
tvayā hi vastavyam ihaiva bhāmini
yathā vyalīkaṁ kuruṣe na kasyacit
tathā tvayā kāryam idaṁ vaco mama
aham = I; gamiṣyāmi = will go; mahā-vanam = to the great forest [of Daṇḍaka]; priye = My dear; tvayā hi = you; vastavyam = should stay; iha eva = here; bhāmini = beautiful lady; yathā vyalīkam kuruṣe na = without displeasing; kasyacit tathā = anyone; tvayā kāryam = carry out; idam = this; vacaḥ = instruction; mama = of Mine.
My dear, I will go to the great forest [of Daṇḍaka]. Beautiful lady, you should stay here without displeasing anyone. Carry out this instruction of Mine.

Rāmacandra wanted to tell Sītā-devī, “You should stay here and do what I have told you.”
The verse can also mean: “My dear, I will go to the great forest [of Daṇḍaka]. Beautiful lady, you should stay here. Just as you don’t displease anyone here, you should do what I have told you.”
