Text 2.29.12
वनवासे हि जानामि दुःखानि बहुधा किल।
प्राप्यन्ते नियतं वीर पुरुषैरकृतात्मभिः॥
vana-vāse hi jānāmi duḥkhāni bahudhā kila
prāpyante niyataṁ vīra puruṣair akṛtātmabhiḥ
vana-vāse hi = in residing in the forest; jānāmi = I know; duḥkhāni = difficulties; bahudhā kila = about the manifold; prāpyante = they are attained; niyatam = as a rule; vīra = O hero; puruṣaiḥ = by people; akṛta-ātmabhiḥ = who have not disciplined their minds.
O hero, I know about the manifold difficulties in residing in the forest. As a rule, they are attained by people who have not disciplined their minds.
Sītā-devī implies that such distresses are not attained by persons like her.
