Text 2.31.25

धनुरादाय सशरं खनित्रपिटकाधरः।
अग्रतस्ते गमिष्यामि पन्थानमनुदर्शयन्॥

dhanur ādāya saśaraṁ khanitra-piṭakādharaḥ
agratas te gamiṣyāmi panthānam anudarśayan

dhanuḥ = [My] bow; ādāya = taking; saśaram = and arrows; khanitra-piṭakādharaḥ = carrying a spade and a basket 1; agrataḥ = ahead; te = of You; gamiṣyāmi = I will go; panthānam = the path; anudarśayan = showing [You].

Taking [My] bow and arrows, carrying a spade and a basket, I will go ahead of You, showing [You] the path.

The bow and arrows were to prevent violence [upon Sītā and Rāma]. The spade was for digging out roots. The basket was for taking fruits, roots and so on.
