तृणमांसफलादानां देशं व्यालमृगद्विजम्।
प्रपद्यतां हि कैकेयी सपुत्रा सहबान्धवैः।
राघवेण वने सर्वे सह वत्स्याम निर्वृताः॥
tṛṇa-māṁsa-phalādānāṁ deśaṁ vyāla-mṛga-dvijam
prapadyatāṁ hi kaikeyī saputrā saha-bāndhavaiḥ
rāghaveṇa vane sarve saha vatsyāma nirvṛtāḥ
tṛṇa-māṁsa-phalādānām = of the eaters of grass, meat and fruits; deśam = this place which will become the land; vyāla-mṛga-dvijam = and which will become filled with cruel beasts and birds; prapadyatām hi = let take shelter of; kaikeyī = Kaikeyī; saputrā = with her son; saha-bāndhavaiḥ = and relatives; rāghaveṇa = Rāghava; vane = in the forest; sarve = all of us; saha = with; vatsyāma = will live; nirvṛtāḥ = happily.
Let Kaikeyī with her son and relatives take shelter of this place which will become the land of the eaters of grass, meat and fruits and which will become filled with cruel beasts and birds. All of us will happily live in the forest with Rāghava.
Eaters of grass include deer. Eaters of meat include tigers. Eaters of fruit include crows.
