Chapter 34: Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa and Sītā Meet Daśaratha
Text 2.34.42
वनवासकृता बुद्धिर्न च मेऽद्य चलिष्यति॥
vana-vāsa-kṛtā buddhir na me ’dya caliṣyati
vana-vāsa-kṛtā = to reside in the forest; buddhir = decision; na = not; me = my; adya = today; caliṣyati = will be affected.
My decision to reside in the forest will not be affected [in any way] today.
