Chapter 37: Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa and Sītā Wear Clothes of Bark
Text 2.37.25
अथ याय्सति वैदेही वनं रामेण सङ्गता।
वयमप्यनुयास्यामः पुरं चेदं गमिष्यति॥
atha yāsyati vaidehī vanaṁ rāmeṇa saṅgatā
vayam apy anuyāsyāmaḥ puraṁ cedaṁ gamiṣyati
atha yāsyati = [if] goes; vaidehī = Vaidehī; vanam = to the forest; rāmeṇa saṅgatā = with Rāma; vayam = we; api = too; anuyāsyāmaḥ = will follow [them]; puram = [entire] city; ca = and; idam = this; gamiṣyati = will go [with Rāma].
[If] Vaidehī goes to the forest with Rāma, we too will follow [them]. And this [entire] city will go [with Rāma].
