Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 37: Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa and Sītā Wear Clothes of Bark
Text 2.37.28

ततः शून्यां गतजनां वसुधां पादपैः सह।
त्वमेका शाधि दुर्वृत्ता प्रजानामहिते स्थिता॥

tataḥ śūnyāṁ gata-janāṁ vasudhāṁ pādapaiḥ saha
tvam ekā śādhi durvṛttā prajānām ahite sthitā

tataḥ = then; śūnyām = and empty; gata-janām = the depopulated; vasudhām = land; pādapaiḥ = its trees; saha = with; tvam = you; ekā = singlehandedly; śādhi = can rule over; durvṛttā = engaged in evil deeds; prajānām = the citizens; ahite = on harming; sthitā = fixed.

Then you, engaged in evil deeds, fixed on harming the citizens, can single-handedly rule over the depopulated and empty land with its trees.
