Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 40: Rāma Departs from Ayodhyā
Text 2.40.32

स च श्रीमानचिन्त्यात्मा रामो दशरथात्मजः।
सूतं सञ्चोदयामास त्वरितं वाह्यतामिति॥

sa śrīmān acintyātmā rāmo daśarathātmajaḥ
sūtaṁ sañcodayām āsa tvaritaṁ vāhyatām iti

saḥ = the; śrīmān = the prosperous; acintya-ātmā = of inconceivable perseverance; rāmaḥ = Rāma; daśaratha-ātmajaḥ = son of King Daśaratha; sūtam = the charioteer; sañcodayām āsa = ordered; tvaritam = fast; vāhyatām iti = drive.

The son of King Daśaratha, the prosperous Rāma of inconceivable perseverance, ordered the charioteer, “Drive fast!”

Acintyātmā indicates that Rāma’s perseverance could not be calibrated as having a limit.
