तेषां वचः सर्वगुणोपपन्नं प्रस्विन्नगात्रः प्रविषण्णरूपः।
निशम्य राजा कृपणः सभार्यों व्यवस्थितस्तं सुतमीक्षमाणः॥
teṣām vacaḥ sarva-guṇopapannaṁ
prasvinna-gātraḥ praviṣaṇṇa-rūpaḥ
niśamya rājā kṛpaṇaḥ sabhāryo
vyavasthitas taṁ sutam īkṣamāṇaḥ
teṣām = their; vacaḥ = words; sarva-guṇa-upapannam = which were endowed with all auspiciousness; prasvinna-gātraḥ = the king’s body was perspiring; praviṣaṇṇa-rūpaḥ = and he appeared to be very dejected; niśamya = hearing; rājā = king; kṛpaṇaḥ = the miserable; sabhāryaḥ = and his wives; vyavasthitaḥ = stood there; tam sutam = at his son; īkṣamāṇaḥ = looking.
Hearing their words which were endowed with all auspiciousness, the miserable king and his wives stood there, looking at his son. The king’s body was perspiring and he appeared to be very dejected.
