Chapter 51: Guha and Lakṣmaṇa Converse at Night
Text 2.51.10
यो न देवासुरैः सर्वैः शक्यःप्रसहितुं युधि।
तं पश्य सुखसंविष्टं तृणेषु सह सीतया॥
yo na devāsuraiḥ sarvaiḥ śakyaḥ prasahituṁ yudhi
taṁ paśya sukha-saṁviṣṭaṁ tṛṇeṣu saha sītayā
yaḥ = Him; na deva-asuraiḥ sarvaiḥ = none of the devas or asuras; śakyaḥ prasahitum = could tolerate; yudhi = in war; tam = at Him; paśya = look; sukha-saṁviṣṭam = He is [now] happily sleeping; tṛṇeṣu = on the grass; saha = with; sītayā = Sītā-devī.
“None of the devas or asuras could tolerate Him in war. Look at Him! He is [now] happily sleeping on the grass with Sitā-devī.
