Chapter 52: Rāma Crosses the Gaṅgā on Guha’s Boat
Text 2.52.33
भरतं च परिष्वज्य यौवराज्येऽभिषिच्य च।
अस्मत्सन्तापजं दुःखं न त्वामभिभविष्यति॥
bharataṁ ca pariṣvajya yauvarājye ’bhiṣicya ca
asmat-santāpajaṁ duḥkhaṁ na tvām abhibhaviṣyati
bharatam ca = Bharata; pariṣvajya = after you embrace; yauvarājye = Him as the crown prince; abhiṣicya = coronate; ca = and; asmat-santāpajam = born from worrying about us; duḥkham = sorrow; na = no; tvām = you; abhibhaviṣyati = will overcome.
No distress born from worrying about us will overcome you after you embrace Bharata and coronate Him as the crown prince.
