Chapter 52: Rāma Crosses the Gaṅgā on Guha’s Boat

इत्युक्त्वा वचनं सूतं सान्त्वयित्वा पुनः पुनः।
गुहं वचनमक्लीबो रामो हेतुमदब्रवीत्॥
ity uktvā vacanaṁ sūtaṁ sāntvayitvā punaḥ punaḥ
guhaṁ vacanam aklībo rāmo hetumad abravīt
iti = these; uktvā = having spoken; vacanam = words; sūtam = to the sūta; sāntvayitvā = and having consoled him; punaḥ punaḥ = repeatedly; guham = to Guha; vacanam = words; aklībaḥ = fearless; rāmaḥ = Rāma; hetumat = the following reasonable; abravīt = spoke.
Having spoken these words to the sūta and having repeatedly consoled him, fearless Rāma spoke the following reasonable words to Guha.
