Chapter 52: Rāma Crosses the Gaṅgā on Guha’s Boat
Text 2.52.90
यानि त्वत्तीरवासीनि दैवतानि वसन्ति च।
तानि सर्वाणि यक्ष्यामि तीर्थान्यायतनानि च॥
yāni tvat-tīra-vāsīni daivatāni vasanti ca
tāni sarvāṇi yakṣyāmi tīrthāny āyatanāni ca
yāni tvat-tīra-vāsīni = on your banks; daivatāni = deities; vasanti = living; ca = as well as; tāni = the; sarvāṇi = all; yakṣyāmi = I will worship; tīrthāni = ghats; āyatanāni = holy sites; ca = and.
I will worship all those ghats and holy sites on your banks as well as the deities living on your banks.
There are holy sites like Kāśī and ghats like Maṇi-kārṇikā on the banks of Gaṅgā.
