Chapter 54: Rāmacandra Meets Bharadvāja Ṛṣi
Text 2.54.1
ते तु तस्मिन्महावृक्ष उषित्वा रजनीं शिवाम्।
विमलेऽभ्युदिते सूर्ये तस्माद्देशात्प्रतस्थिरे॥
te tu tasmin mahā-vṛkṣa uṣitvā rajanīṁ śivām
vimale ’bhyudite sūrye tasmād deśāt pratasthire
te tu = they; tasmin = under that; mahā-vṛkṣe = large tree; uṣitvā = having spent; rajanīm = night; śivām = that auspicious; vimale abhyudite = fully arose; sūrye = when the sun; tasmāt deśāt = from that place; pratasthire = departed.
Having spent that auspicious night under that large tree, they departed from that place when the sun fully arose.
