Chapter 56: Rāma Reaches Citrakūṭa
Text 2.56.11
समभूमितले रम्ये द्रुमैर्बहुभिरावृते।
पुण्ये रंस्यामहे तात चित्रकूटस्य कानने॥
sama-bhūmi-tale ramye drumair bahubhir āvṛte
puṇye raṁsyāmahe tāta citrakūṭasya kānane
sama-bhūmi-tale = its land is smooth; ramye = in the pleasant; drumaiḥ = trees; bahubhiḥ = with many; āvṛte = and it is filled; puṇye = it is pleasant; raṁsyāmahe = we will be happy; tāta = dear Lakṣmaṇa; citrakūṭasya = of Citrakūṭa; kānane = forest.
Dear Lakṣmaṇa, we will be happy in the pleasant forest of Citrakūṭa. Its land is smooth. It is pleasant and it is filled with many trees.
