Chapter 56: Rāma Reaches Citrakūṭa
Text 2.56.19
इति तेन समाज्ञप्तः प्रीयमाणो महारथः।
तथेति प्रतिजग्राह ऋषिणोक्तं कृताञ्जलिः॥
iti tena samājñaptaḥ prīyamāṇo mahā-rathaḥ
tatheti pratijagrāha ṛṣiṇoktaṁ kṛtāñjaliḥ
iti = thus; tena = by the sage; samājñaptaḥ = being directed; prīyamāṇaḥ = happily; mahā-rathaḥ = the great chariot-fighter; tathā iti = by saying alright; pratijagrāha = accepted; ṛṣiṇā = of the sage; uktam = the words; kṛta-añjaliḥ = with His palms joined in supplication.
Being thus directed by the sage, the great chariot-fighter happily accepted the words of the sage by saying “Alright” with His palms joined in supplication.
