Chapter 56: Rāma Reaches Citrakūṭa
Text 2.56.31

रामः स्नात्वा तु नियतो गुणवाञ्जप्यकोविदः।
संग्रहेणाकरोत्सर्वान्मन्त्रान्सत्रावसानिकान्॥

rāmaḥ snātvā tu niyato guṇavāñ japya-kovidaḥ
saṅgraheṇākarot sarvān mantrān satrāvasānikān

rāmaḥ = Rāma; snātvā tu = took bath; niyataḥ = and restrained Himself; guṇavān = He was adequately qualified to perform the sacrifice; japya-kovidaḥ = He was expert in uttering mantras needed for the sacrifice; saṅgraheṇa = briefly; akarot sarvān mantrān satra-avasānikān = He chanted all the mantras needed to conclude the vāstu-yajña.

Rāma took bath and restrained Himself. He was adequately qualified to perform the sacrifice. He was expert in uttering mantras needed for the sacrifice. He briefly chanted all the mantras needed to conclude the vāstu-yajña and performed the sacrificial rituals.
