vedi-sthala-vidhānāni = arenas to present sacrificial offerings to the deities; caityāni = shrines for the deities; āyatanāni = room for lighting fire; ca = and; āśramasya = to the size of the āśrama; anurūpāṇi = all as appropriate; sthāpayām āsa = set up; rāghavaḥ = the descendant of Raghu.
The descendant of Raghu set up arenas to present sacrificial offerings to the deities, shrines for the deities and rooms for lighting fire, all as appropriate to the size of the āśrama.
By chanting [appropriate] mantras, He established places for specific deities to reside [in His home]. This is the meaning of His setting up arenas and shrines.
