Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 61: Kausalyā Condemns Daśaratha in Extreme Distress
Text 2.61.10

यत्तवयाकरुणं कर्म व्यपोह्य मम बान्धवाः।
निरस्ताः परिधावन्ति सुखार्हाः कृपणा वने॥

yat tvayākaruṇaṁ karma vyapohya mama bāndhavāḥ
nirastāḥ paridhāvanti sukhārhāḥ kṛpaṇā vane

yat = because; tvayā = of your; akaruṇam karma = merciless act; vyapohya = have departed from the city; mama = my; bāndhavāḥ = relatives Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa and Sītā-devī; nirastāḥ = have been banished; paridhāvanti = have rushed; sukha-arhāḥ = who deserve comfort; kṛpaṇāḥ = and those poor souls; vane = to the forest.

Because of your merciless act, my relatives Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa and Sītā-devī have been banished and those poor souls who deserve comfort have rushed to the forest!1

1 Kausalyā-devī has intentionally referred to Rāma, Lakṣmaṇa and Sītā as her relatives (mama bāndhavāḥ), not as the relatives of herself and her husband because she accuses Daśaratha of not considering them to be his relatives at all because of his obsession for the beautiful Kaikeyī.
