Chapter 64: Daśaratha Gives up his Life in Remembrance of Lord Rāma

आबभाषे च तौ वृद्धौ सह शक्रेण तापसः।
आश्वास्य च मुहूर्तं तु पितरौ वाक्यमब्रवीत्॥
ābabhāṣe ca tau vṛddhau saha śakreṇa tāpasaḥ
āśvāsya ca muhūrtaṁ tu pitarau vākyam abravīt
ābabhāṣe ca = spoke; tau vṛddhau = to the elderly couple; saha śakreṇa = along with Indra; tāpasaḥ = the young ascetic; āśvāsya ca = he [first] consoled; muhūrtam tu = for a short while; pitarau = his parents; vākyam = the following words; abravīt = and then spoke.
Along with Indra, the young ascetic spoke to the elderly couple. He [first] consoled his parents for a short while and then spoke the following words.
