तत्पुत्र शीघ्रं विधिना विधिज्ञैर्वसिष्ठमुख्यैः सहितो द्विजेन्द्रैः।
सङ्काल्य राजानमदीनसत्त्वमात्मानमुर्व्यामभिषेचयस्व॥
tat putra śīghraṁ vidhinā vidhijñair
vasiṣṭha-mukhyair sahito dvijendraiḥ
saṅkālya rājānam adīna-sattvam
ātmānam urvyām abhiṣecayasva
tat = so; putra = my son; śīghram = quickly; vidhinā = according to the scriptural regulations; vidhijñaiḥ = who know those regulations; vasiṣṭha-mukhyaiḥ = headed by Vasiṣṭha; sahitaḥ = with; dvija-indraiḥ = the best of the twice-born; saṅkālya = perform the final rites, then; rājānam = for the king; adīna-sattvam = of good character; ātmānam = Yourself; urvyām = [to rule] over the land; abhiṣecayasva = have coronated.
So, my son, quickly peform the final rites for the king of good character according to the scriptural regulations with the best of the twice-born headed by Vasiṣṭha who know those regulations. Then have Yourself coronated [to rule] over the land.
