Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 77: Bharata and Śatrughna Lament About Daśaratha’s Departure
Text 2.77.11

शत्रुघ्नश्चापि भरतं दृष्ट्वा शोकपरिप्लुतम्।
विसंज्ञो न्यपतद्भूमौ भूमिपालमनुस्मरन्॥

śatrughnaś cāpi bharataṁ dṛṣṭvā śoka-pariplutam
visaṁjño nyapatad bhūmau bhūmipālam anusmaran

śatrughnaḥ = Śatrughna; ca api = also; bharatam = Bharata; dṛṣṭvā = seeing; śoka-pariplutam = immersed in grief; visaṁjñaḥ = became senseless; nyapatat = and fell; bhūmau = on the ground; bhūmipālam = the king; anusmaran = while constantly remembering.

Seeing Bharata immersed in grief, Śatrughna also became senseless while constantly remembering the king and fell on the ground.

Śatrughna was sober until Bharata fell [on the ground, overwhelmed in sorrow]. Then He [also] fell [on the ground].
