ऊचुस्ते वचनमिदं निशम्य हृष्टाः सामात्याः सपरिषदो वियातशोकाः।
पन्थानं नरवर भक्तिमाञ्जनश्च व्यादिष्टास्तव वचनाच्च शिल्पिवर्गः॥
ūcus te vacanam idaṁ niśamya hṛṣṭāḥ
sāmātyāḥ sapariṣado viyāta-śokāḥ
panthānaṁ nara-vara bhaktimāñ janaś ca
vyādiṣṭās tava vacanāc ca śilpi-vargaḥ
ūcuḥ = said; te = they; vacanam = words; idam = those; niśamya = hearing; hṛṣṭāḥ = with delight; sāmātyāḥ = along with the ministers; sapariṣadaḥ = and other members of the assembly; viyāta-śokāḥ = they were relieved of their distress; panthānam = a road; nara-vara = O prince; bhaktimān = devoted to You; janaḥ = guards; ca = and; vyādiṣṭāḥ = have been directed [to build]; tava vacanāt = on Your order; ca = and; śilpi-vargaḥ = artisans.
Hearing those words, they were relieved of their distress. With delight and along with the ministers and other members of the assembly, they said, “O prince, artisans and guards devoted to You have been directed [to build] a road on Your order.”
