Chapter 81: Vasiṣṭha Summons Bharata
Text 2.81.10
शातकुम्भमयीं रम्यां मणिरत्नसमाकुलाम्।
सुधर्मामिव धर्मात्मा सगणः प्रत्यपद्यत॥
śātakumbhamayīṁ ramyāṁ maṇi-ratna-samākulām
sudharmām iva dharmātmā sagaṇaḥ pratyapadyata
śātakumbhamayīm = the hall was built of gold; ramyām = the pleasant; maṇi-ratna-samākulām = and covered over with the best of gems 1; sudharmām iva = resembling Sudharmā; dharma-ātmā = that dhārmika soul; sagaṇaḥ = with his disciples; pratyapadyata = reached assembly hall.
That dhārmika soul reached the pleasant assembly hall with his disciples. Resembling Sudharmā, the hall was built of gold and covered over with the best of gems such as rubies.
Maṇi-ratna-samākulām also indicates that the hall was covered over with gems and pearls 2.
