Chapter 83: Bharata Reaches Śṛṅgiberapura
Text 2.83.11
ये च तत्रापरे सर्वे संमता ये च नैगमाः।
रामं प्रतिययुर्हृष्टाः सर्वाः प्रकृतयस्तथा॥
ye ca tatrāpare sarve sammatā ye ca naigamāḥ
rāmaṁ prati yayur hṛṣṭāḥ sarvāḥ prakṛtayas tathā
ye ca tatra apare = others; sarve = all; sammatāḥ = who esteemed Rāma; ye ca naigamāḥ = the merchants; rāmam prati = to meet Rāma; yayuḥ = went; hṛṣṭāḥ = happily; sarvāḥ = all; prakṛtayaḥ tathā = the members of the guilds in the city; tathā = and.
All others who esteemed Rāma, the merchants and all the members of the guilds in the city happily went to meet Rāma.1
