Chapter 84: Guha Meets Bharata
Text 2.84.12

एष ज्ञातिसहेस्रण स्थपतिः परिवारितः।
कुशलो दण्डकारण्ये वृद्धो भ्रातुश्च ते सखा॥

eṣa jñāti-sahasreṇa sthapatiḥ parivāritaḥ
kuśalo daṇḍakāraṇye vṛddho bhrātuś ca te sakhā

eṣaḥ = is here; jñāti-sahasreṇa = by a thousand relatives; sthapatiḥ = the master [of this place]; parivāritaḥ = surrounded; kuśalaḥ = he is well-acquainted; daṇḍaka-araṇye = with Daṇḍakāraṇya; vṛddhaḥ = is an old; bhrātuḥ = of brother Rāma; ca = and; te = Your; sakhā = friend.

The master [of this place], surrounded by a thousand relatives, is here. He is well-aquainted with Daṇḍakāraṇya and is an old friend of Your brother Rāma.
