Chapter 86: Guha Relates Rāma’s Pastimes on the Bank of Gaṅgā

न हि मेऽविदितं किंचिद्वनेऽस्मिंश्चरतः सदा।
चतुरङ्गं ह्यपि बलं प्रसहेम वयं युधि॥
na hi me ’viditaṁ kiñcid vane ’smiṁś carataḥ sadā
catur-aṅgaṁ hy api balaṁ prasahema vayaṁ yudhi
na hi = nothing [here]; me = to me; aviditam = that is unknown; kiñcit = there is; vane = forest; asmin = in this; carataḥ = [since] I am wandering; sadā = all the time; catuḥ-aṅgam = a fourfold; hi = indeed; api = even; balam = armed force; prasahema = can resist; vayam = we; yudhi = in battle.
[Since] I am wandering about this forest all the time, there is nothing [here] that is unknown to me. Indeed, we can even resist a fourfold armed force in battle.
