anyāḥ sravantu maireyaṁ surām anyāḥ suniṣṭhitām
aparāś codakaṁ śītam ikṣu-kāṇda-rasopamam
anyāḥ1 = some; sravantu = may flow; maireyam = with maireya; surām = with surā; anyāḥ = some; suniṣṭhitām = well-prepared; aparāḥ = others; ca = and; udakam = with water; śītam = cold; ikṣu-kāṇda-rasa-upamam = as good as sugarcane juice.
May some flow with maireya, some with well prepared surā and others with cold water as good as sugarcane juice.
1 Śabda-kalpadruma notes that one of the meanings of anyaḥ is ekaḥ.
Maireya is an intoxicant made from date palms and so on. There are three kinds of surā drinks—those made from mollasses, ground rice and honey: gauḍī paiṣṭī ca mādhvī ca vijñeyā trividhā surā (Manu-saṁhitā 11.95)
