Text 2.91.57
तर्पिताः सर्वकामैस्ते रक्तचन्दनरूषिताः।
अप्सरोगणसंयुक्ताः सैन्या वाचमुदैरयन्॥
tarpitāḥ sarva-kāmais te rakta-candana-rūṣitāḥ
apsaro-gaṇa-saṁyuktāḥ sainyā vācam udairayan
tarpitāḥ = gratified; sarva-kāmaiḥ = by all objects of enjoyment; te = the men who; rakta-candana-rūṣitāḥ = smeared with red sandalwood paste; apsaraḥ-gaṇa-saṁyuktāḥ = and surrounded by the apsarās; sainyāḥ = had joined the army; vācam = the following words; udairayan = exclaimed.
Gratified by all objects of enjoyment, smeared with red sandalwood paste and surrounded by the apsarās, the men who had joined the army exclaimed the following words.
These apsarās were the forest creepers who had assumed the forms of apsarās, not the ones called [by the sage] because it has been described that they had entered Bharata’s residence.
