Chapter 93: Bharata Initiates a Search for Rāma’s Residence
Text 2.93.1

तया महत्या यायिन्या ध्वजिन्या वनवासिनः।
अर्दिता यूथपा मत्ताः सयूथाः संप्रदुद्रुवुः॥

tayā mahatyā yāyinyā dhvajinyā vana-vāsinaḥ
arditā yūthapā mattāḥ sayūthāḥ sampradudruvuḥ

tayā mahatyā = when that great; yāyinyā = marched forth; dhvajinyā = army; vana-vāsinaḥ = of elephants and other animals in the forest; arditāḥ = became disturbed; yūthapāḥ = the leaders of the herds 1; mattāḥ = the excited; sayūthāḥ = with their herds; sampradudruvuḥ = and fled off.

When that great army marched forth, the excited leaders of the herds of elephants and other animals in the forest became disturbed and fled off with their herds.
