Chapter 93: Bharata Initiates a Search for Rāma’s Residence

सागरौघनिभा सेना भरतस्य महात्मनः।
महीं संच्छादयामास प्रावृषि द्यामिवाम्बुदः॥
sāgaraugha-nibhā senā bharatasya mahātmanaḥ
mahīṁ sañcchādayām āsa prāvṛṣi dyām ivāmbudaḥ
sāgara-augha-nibhā = resembling the waves of the ocean; senā = the army; bharatasya mahātmanaḥ = of the great soul Bharata; mahīm = over the earth; sañcchādayām āsa = covered; prāvṛṣi = in the monsoon season; dyām = cover the sky; iva = just as; ambudaḥ = the clouds.
Resembling the waves of the ocean, the army of the great soul Bharata covered over the earth just as the clouds cover the sky in the monsoon season.
