Chapter 93: Bharata Initiates a Search for Rāma’s Residence
Text 2.93.15

खुरैरुदीरितो रेणुर्दिवं प्रच्छाद्य तिष्ठति।
तं वहत्यनिलः शीघ्रं कुर्वन्निव मम प्रियम्॥

khurair udīrito reṇur divaṁ pracchādya tiṣṭhati
taṁ vahaty anilaḥ śīghraṁ kurvann iva mama priyam

khuraiḥ = by the hooves of the horses and other animals; udīritaḥ = stirred up; reṇuḥ = the dust; divam = the sky; pracchādya = covers; tiṣṭhati = and stays there; tam vahati = blows it away; anilaḥ = while the wind; śīghram = quickly; kurvan iva mama priyam = as if to please Me.

The dust stirred up by the hooves of the horses and other animals covers the sky and stays there while the wind quickly blows it away as if to please Me.

“As if to please Me” means “as if to please Me by showing Me Rāma’s āśrama.” Bharata described the area [surrounding] Rāma’s āśrama out of love for Him for He resided there.
