Chapter 93: Bharata Initiates a Search for Rāma’s Residence
Text 2.93.24

तच्छ्रुत्वा भरतस्तेषां वचनं साधुसंमतम्।
सैन्यानुवाच सर्वांस्तानमित्रबलमर्दनः॥

tac chrutvā bharatas teṣāṁ vacanaṁ sādhu-sammatam
sainyān uvāca sarvāṁs tān amitra-bala-mardanaḥ

tat śrutvā = upon hearing; bharataḥ = Bharata; teṣām = their; vacanam = words; sādhu-sammatam = that are approved by persons who knew what is proper; sainyān = of His soldiers [as follows]; uvāca = spoke; sarvān tān = to all; amitra-bala-mardanaḥ = who crushed His opponents’ armies.

Upon hearing their words that are approved by persons who knew what is proper, Bharata who crushed His opponents’ armies spoke to all of His soldiers [as follows].

Bharata was one who crushed His opponents’ armies, that is, one whose orders had to be carried out unfailingly.
