Chapter 94: Rāma Describes the Excellence of Citrakūṭa to Sītā
Text 2.94.13
जलप्रपातैरुद्भेदैर्निष्यन्दैश्च क्वचित्क्वचित्।
स्रवद्भिर्भात्ययं शैलः स्रवन्मद इव द्विपः॥
jala-prapātair udbhedair niṣyandaiś ca kvacit kvacit
sravadbhir bhāty ayaṁ śailaḥ sravan-mada iva dvipaḥ
jala-prapātaiḥ = with waterfalls; udbhedaiḥ = springs; niṣyandaiḥ = cascades; ca = and; kvacit kvacit = here and there; sravadbhiḥ = flowing; bhāti = shines; ayam = this; śailaḥ = mountain; sravat-madaḥ = oozing out ichor; iva = like; dvipaḥ = an elephant.
With waterfalls, springs and cascades flowing here and there, this mountain shines like an elephant oozing out ichor.
