Canto 2 -

Chapter 100: Rāma Instructs Bharata About the Duties of a King
Text 2.100.15

इष्वस्त्रवरसंपन्नमर्थशास्त्रविशारदम्।
सुधन्वानमुपाध्यायं कच्चित्त्वं तात मन्यसे॥

iṣv-astra-vara-sampannam artha-śāstra-viśāradam
sudhanvānam upādhyāyaṁ kaccit tvaṁ tāta manyase

iṣu-astra-vara-sampannam = he is endowed with excellent arrows that are charged with mantras and that are not charged with mantras; artha-śāstra-viśāradam = and is a master in Artha-śāstras; sudhanvānam = Sudhanvā; upādhyāyam = the great ācārya of Dhanurveda; kaccit = do; tvam = You; tāta = dear Bharata; manyase = honor.

Dear Bharata, do You honor Sudhanvā, the ācārya of Dhanurveda?1 He is endowed with excellent arrows that are charged with mantras and that are not charged with mantras, and is a master in Artha-śāstras.

1 Dhanurveda assumes a special significance for kṣatriyas and hence they are obliged to give special respect to brahminical teachers of Dhanurveda. It can be inferred that brāhmaṇas should give special respect to brahminical teachers of mokṣa-śāstras and vaiśyas should give special respect to brahminical teachers of scriptures that teach kṛṣi-go-rakṣya-vāṇijya (farming, cow protection and trading based on these two).
