धार्मिकेणानृशंसेन नरेण गुरुवर्तिना।
भवितव्यं नरव्याघ्र परलोकं जिगीषता॥
dhārmikeṇānṛśaṁsena nareṇa guru-vartinā
bhavitavyaṁ nara-vyāghra para-lokaṁ jigīṣatā
dhārmikeṇa = who follows dharma; anṛśaṁsena = avoids cruelty; nareṇa = man; guru-vartinā = obeys his superiors; bhavitavyam = should be [like this]; nara-vyāghra = O prince; para-lokam = the higher worlds; jigīṣatā = desires to attain.
O prince, man who follows dharma, avoids cruelty, obeys his superiors and desires to attain the higher worlds should be [like this].
