Chapter 113: Bharata Returns to Ayodhyā
Text 2.113.9
स याच्यमानो गुरुणा मया च दृढविक्रमः।
राघवः परमप्रीतो वसिष्ठं वाक्यमब्रवीत्॥
sa yācyamāno guruṇā mayā ca dṛḍha-vikramaḥ
rāghavaḥ parama-prīto vasiṣṭhaṁ vākyam abravīt
saḥ yācyamānaḥ = [despite] being beseeched; guruṇā = by Our guru Vasiṣṭha; mayā = Me; ca = and; dṛḍha-vikramaḥ = of firm fortitude; rāghavaḥ = Rāghava; parama-prītaḥ = in great happiness; vasiṣṭham = to Vasiṣṭha; vākyam = the following words; abravīt = spoke.
[Despite] being beseeched by Our guru Vasiṣṭha and Me, Rāghava of firm fortitude spoke the following words to Vasiṣṭha in great happiness.
