Chapter 113: Bharata Returns to Ayodhyā
Text 2.113.11
एवमुक्तो महाप्राज्ञो वसिष्ठः प्रत्युवाच ह।
वाक्यज्ञो वाक्यकुशलं राघवं वचनं महत्॥
evam ukto mahā-prājño vasiṣṭhaḥ pratyuvāca ha
vākyajño vākya-kuśalaṁ rāghavaṁ vacanaṁ mahat
evam = thus; uktaḥ = upon being addressed; mahā-prājñaḥ = the greatly intelligent; vasiṣṭhaḥ = Vasiṣṭha; pratyuvāca ha = spoke; vākyajñaḥ = who knew how to speak; vākya-kuśalam = who was expert in speech; rāghavam = to Rāghava; vacanam = the following words; mahat = great.
Upon being addressed thus, the greatly intelligent Vasiṣṭha who knew how to speak spoke the following great words to Rāghava who was expert in speech.
