Chapter 116: The Sages Depart from Citrakūṭa
Text 2.116.1

प्रतिप्रयाते भरते वसन्रामस्तपोवने।
लक्षयामास सोद्वेगमथौत्सुक्यं तपस्विनाम्॥

pratiprayāte bharate vasan rāmas tapo-vane
lakṣayām āsa sodvegam athautsukyaṁ tapasvinām

pratiprayāte = had returned [to Ayodhyā]; bharate = after Bharata; vasan = resided; rāmaḥ = while Rāma; tapaḥ-vane = at the forest meant for performing austerities; lakṣayām āsa = He understood; sa-udvegam = frightened; atha autsukyam = the eagerness to go to another āśrama through their gestures and so on; tapasvinām = of the ascetics.

After Bharata had returned [to Ayodhyā], while Rāma resided at the forest meant for performing austerities, He understood the eagerness of the frightened ascetics to go to another āśrama through their gestures and so on.
