Chapter 116: The Sages Depart from Citrakūṭa
Text 2.116.25

रामः संसाध्य त्वृषिगणमनुगमनाद्देशात्तस्मात्कुलपतिमभिवाद्य ऋषिम्।
सम्यक्प्रीतैस्तैरनुमत उपदिष्टार्थः पुण्यं वासाय स्वनिलयमुपसंपेदे॥

रामः संसाध्य त्वृषिगणमनुगमनाद्देशात्तस्मात्कुलपतिमभिवाद्य ऋषिम्।
सम्यक्प्रीतैस्तैरनुमत उपदिष्टार्थः पुण्यं वासाय स्वनिलयमुपसंपेदे॥

rāmaḥ = Rāma; saṁsādhya tu = satisfied; ṛṣi-gaṇam = the sages; anugamanāt = by following them; deśāt = that place; tasmāt = from; kula-patim = unto the leading; abhivādya = He offered His respectful obeisances; ṛṣim = sage; samyak-prītaiḥ = fully satisfied [with Him]; taiḥ = they; anumataḥ = permitted Him [to take leave]; upadiṣṭa-arthaḥ = and instructed Him about His needs;   puṇyam = His auspicious; vāsāya = to stay there; sva-nilayam = residence; upasampede = He then reached.

Rāma satisfied the sages by following them from that place. He offered His respectful obeisances unto the leading sage. Fully satisfied [with Him], they permitted Him [to take leave] and instructed Him about His needs. He then reached His auspicious residence to stay there.
