Chapter 118: Conversation Between Sītā and Anasūyā

यां वृत्तिं वर्तते रामः कौसल्यायां महाबलः।
तामेव नृपनारीणामन्यासामपि वर्तते॥
yāṁ vṛttiṁ vartate rāmaḥ kausalyāyāṁ mahā-balaḥ
tām eva nṛpa-nārīṇām anyāsām api vartate
yām vṛttim vartate = the way He deals; rāmaḥ = Rāma; kausalyāyām = with Kausalyā-devī; mahā-balaḥ = of great strength; tām eva1 nṛpa-nārīṇām = with the wives of the king; anyāsām api = the other; vartate = deals.
Rāma of great strength deals with the other wives of the king the way He deals with Kausalyā-devī.
