Chapter 118: Conversation Between Sītā and Anasūyā
Text 2.118.46
सुतौ दशरथस्येमौ धनुर्दर्शनकाङ्क्षिणौ।
धनुर्दर्शय रामाय राजपुत्राय दैविकम्।।
sutau daśarathasyemau dhanur darśana-kāṅkṣiṇau
dhanur darśaya rāmāya rāja-putrāya daivikam
sutau = sons; daśarathasya = Daśaratha’s; imau = these are; dhanuḥ = the bow; darśana-kāṅkṣiṇau = they are hankering to see; dhanuḥ = bow; darśaya = show; rāmāya rāja-putrāya = to Prince Rāma; daivikam = the divine.
These are Daśaratha’s sons. They are hankering to see the bow. Show the divine bow to Prince Rāma.
