Chapter 118: Conversation Between Sītā and Anasūyā
Text 2.118.47
इत्युक्तस्तेन विप्रेण तद्धनुः समुपानयत्।
तद्धनुर्दर्शयामास राजपुत्राय दैविकम्॥
ity uktas tena vipreṇa tad dhanuḥ samupānayat
tad dhanur darśayām āsa rāja-putrāya daivikam
iti uktaḥ = upon being requested; tena = by that; vipreṇa = brāhmaṇa; tat dhanuḥ = the bow; samupānayat = my father had brought; tat dhanuḥ = that bow; darśayām āsa = he then showed; rāja-putrāya = to the prince; daivikam = divine.
Upon being requested by that brāhmaṇa, my father had the bow brought. He then showed that divine bow to the prince.
