Chapter 118: Conversation Between Sītā and Anasūyā

निमेषान्तरमात्रेण तदानम्य स वीर्यवान्।
ज्यां समारोप्य झटिति पूरयामास वीर्यवत्॥
nimeṣāntara-mātreṇa tad ānamya sa vīryavān
jyāṁ samāropya jhaṭiti pūrayām āsa vīryavat
nimeṣa-antara-mātreṇa = in the twinkling of an eye; tat = it; ānamya = bent; saḥ = that; vīryavān = heroic prince; jyām samāropya = He strung that bow; jhaṭiti = within an instant; pūrayām āsa = and pulled its bowstring; vīryavat = powerful.
In the twinkling of an eye that heroic prince bent it. Within an instant He strung that powerful bow and pulled its bowstring.
