Chapter 8: Śrī Rāma Departs From Sutīkṣṇa’s Āśrama
Text 3.8.19
आबध्य च शुभे तूणी चापौ चादाय सस्वने।
निष्क्रान्तावाश्रमाद्गन्तुमुभौ तौ रामलक्ष्मणौ॥
ābadhya ca śubhe tūṇī cāpau cādāya sasvane
niṣkrāntāv āśramād gantum ubhau tau rāma-lakṣmaṇau
ābadhya ca = wore; śubhe = the two beautiful; tūṇī = quivers; cāpau = bows; ca = and; ādāya = took; sasvane = the two loud; niṣkrāntau = came out; āśramāt = the āśrama; gantum = to leave; ubhau tau rāma-lakṣmaṇau = Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa.
Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa wore the two beautiful quivers, took the two loud bows and came out to leave the āśrama.
