स्त्रीचापलादेतदुदाहृतं मे धर्मं च वक्तुं तव कस्समर्थः।
विचार्य बुध्द्या तु सहानुजेन यद्रोचते तत्कुरु मा चिरेण॥
strī-cāpalād etad udāhṛtaṁ me
dharmaṁ ca vaktuṁ tava kaḥ samarthaḥ
vicārya buddhyā tu sahānujena
yad rocate tat kuru mā cireṇa
strī-cāpalāt = due to womanly frivolousness; etat = this; udāhṛtam me = I have spoken; dharmam ca = about dharma; vaktum = of speaking; tava = to You; kaḥ = who; samarthaḥ = is capable; vicārya = think [about this]; buddhyā tu = with Your intelligence; saha = with; anujena = Your younger brother; yat = which; rocate = pleases You; tat = that; kuru = do; mā cireṇa = but without delay.
I have spoken this due to womanly frivolousness. Who is capable of speaking to You about dharma? With Your intelligence think [about this] along with Your younger brother. Do that which pleases You, but without delay.

1 When the Supreme Lord appears in this world, He often imitates the conditioned souls to bewilder the demoniac. Therefore this advice.
GLOSS. Since she refers to herself as a woman, kaḥ samarthaḥ indicates that no man is capable [of speaking to Rāma about dharma]. No woman or man is capable of doing so. “Think [about this] along with Your younger brother” [is an advice] in imitation of [the customs of this] world.1
