Chapter 10: Rāma Asserts His Unbreakable Resolution to Fulfill His Promises

तदर्ध्यमानान्रक्षोभिर्दण्डकारण्यवासिभिः।
रक्ष नस्त्वं सह भ्रात्रा त्वन्नाथा हि वयं वने॥
tad ardyamānān rakṣobhir daṇḍakāraṇyavāsibhiḥ
rakṣa nas tvaṁ saha bhrātrā tvan-nāthā hi vayaṁ vane
tat = so; ardyamānān = who are being tortured; rakṣobhiḥ = by the rākṣasas; daṇḍaka-araṇyavāsibhiḥ = residing in Daṇḍakāraṇya; rakṣa = protect; naḥ = us; tvam saha = with; bhrātrā = Your brother; tvat-nāthāḥ hi = only have You as our protector; vayam = We; vane = in the forest.
We only have You as our protector in the forest. So, with Your brother, protect us who are being tortured by the rākṣasas residing in Daṇḍakāraṇya.
