Chapter 11: Rāma Goes to Agastya’s Āśrama
Text 3.11.9
इदमत्यद्भुतं श्रुत्वा सर्वेषां नो महामुने।
कौतूहलं महज्जातं किमिदं साधु कथ्यताम्॥
idam atyadbhutaṁ śrutvā sarveṣāṁ no mahā-mune
kautūhalaṁ mahaj jātaṁ kim idaṁ sādhu kathyatām
idam = these; atyadbhutam = very astonishing sounds; śrutvā = upon hearing; sarveṣām = all; naḥ = of us; mahā-mune = O great sage; kautūhalam mahat jātam = are filled with great curiosity; kim = what; idam = is this; sādhu kathyatām = please tell us.
O great sage, upon hearing these very astonishing sounds, all of us are filled with great curiosity. What is this? Please tell us.
